The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership (ATLP) is delighted to welcome Tamworth’s Coton Green Primary School to its growing family of academies.

The popular primary school is the latest school to join to the respected multi-academy trust, which connects academies in Birmingham, North Warwickshire and Staffordshire. ATLP’s partnership now includes nine primary schools, five secondary schools and one national teaching school.

Coton Green has been working with the ATLP for a number of months in the lead up to the official partnership and the school is looking forward to building on this success.

Headteacher Richard Osborne (pictured above) said:

We are so pleased to be part of the ATLP. It is wonderful to be among a family of schools whose values reflect our own. We are all committed to putting children at the heart of everything we do and this partnership will benefit our community in so many ways. Coton Green is going from strength to strength and there is much to look forward to. I would like to thank our families for their continued support. These are challenging times for everybody, but by working together and being there for each other, we can provide even greater opportunities for our children.”

Coton Green Primary School is now part of the ATLP’s Staffordshire Hub of one secondary school and four primary schools, three of which are now based in Tamworth.

Richard Osborne joined Richard Gill and other ATLP senior leaders at the MAT’s conference in January

ATLP CEO Richard Gill, who is also chair of the Teaching Schools Council, said:

I’m thrilled to officially welcome Coton Green to our partnership. Richard and his team lead a much-loved school in the heart of their local community and it is a privilege to be able to work with them. Our multi-academy trust is committed to excellence in education and continuous school improvement. We have an established hub of ATLP schools in Staffordshire, and Coton Green is already benefiting from being part of both that geographical network and our wider family of 14 schools. I am looking forward to enjoying even closer collaboration with Richard and his team as we begin the start of a new era for all.”
