Mere Green Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and self-motivated Lunchtime Supervisor to ensure the safety and supervision of pupils during lunchtime. 


Grade 2, Points 3-8 – £18,562.00 – £20,493.00 pa FTE (actual salary £4,372 – £4,827 pa)

10 hours per week, 11.30am – 1.30pm, Monday –Friday

Permanent, Term time only inclusive of 5 Inset Days

This recruitment campaign may also present an opportunity to appoint x1 Senior Lunchtime Supervisor, 11 hours per week, term time only on a permanent basis.  Subject to work experience and suitable qualifications, this opportunity will be discussed with all respective applicants during the interview stage.

The role will involve:

  • Preparing the dining room for lunch time, including setting out tables
  • Supervising pupils in the Dining Room during lunch time, on the playground or in the classrooms
  • Initiating/setting up games & activities to engage the children
  • Sweeping, cleaning and putting tables away and tidying up after lunch
  • To collect and return pupils to their classes
