Trust Personal Development Lead

Required for September 2022

We are seeking to appoint a Trust Personal Development Lead to add capacity to our School Improvement Team during this stage in our development and growth.

The Trust Personal Development Lead will work as part of the School Improvement Team to develop and implement strategies in personal development to raise achievement in ATLP schools in line with agreed priorities and to be accountable for the outcomes of such strategies.

You will promote and embody the ‘One Trust vision’ so that it is always at the core of school/trust improvement work ensuring ‘children are at the heart of everything we do’.

The successful applicant will:

  • Responsible and accountable for leading initiatives in personal development to raise achievement in schools across the Trust
  • Lead CPD to motivate and inspire staff and support their development
  • Implement strategies for working with teams in schools to improve the quality of teaching and learning through personal development
  • Work with the Teaching School Hub to promote and support National Professional Qualifications
  • Encourage and facilitate professional networking and discussion amongst school staff in Hubs and across phases and curriculum areas to support sharing of expertise

Salary:                   L12-L16 (£55,338-£61,166) pro rata per annum

Location: The Trust Central Office is based at The Arthur Terry School, Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. You will be required to work across all Trust school sites and working from home is also supported.
