Dear friends and colleagues,

Today is ‘National Thank a Teacher Day’ – when we celebrate schools, colleges, teachers and support staff across the country.

Across the ATLP, it’s another opportunity to say an enormous and sincere thank you to all of our staff and volunteers for all that you do. It’s our chance to celebrate the schools at the heart of our communities.

On this national day of celebration for those involved in education, we recognise and commend your hard work, dedication and support. You give your all to make a difference to the lives of our children and young people, and I am so proud and humbled to be part of this noble profession.

It is my absolute pleasure and privilege to lead this fantastic family of schools, where we work together as ‘One Trust’ to assure the futures of our students – every single day.

This admiration and respect can be found across our Partnership. Senior leaders (who are included in my very long list of thank yous) share in my praise. We know that you are the beating hearts of our schools. We value the vital contribution you make, and how you enrich the lives of those around you.

At a time when our communities need us more than ever, you serve with courage, generosity, integrity and kindness. You are an inspiration during these challenging times and, together, we will continue to light the way for the children and young people in our care.

Take care,

Richard Gill CBE, ATLP CEO
