Young sporting aces from across the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership have seen their hard work and commitment rewarded.

Huge congratulations to the Arthur Terry Year 9 girls’ and boys’ teams who were both crowned champions in the Birmingham Schools athletics competition.

The event on May 14 was organised by Birchfield Harriers and held at the renowned athletics club’s magnificent Alexander Stadium home in Perry Barr.

Both teams secured highly impressive victories in their age groups.

Elsewhere, Coleshill’s Year 7 and 8 dance team finished third in the recent Solihull School Games Street Dance Showcase.

Ava, Olivia and Olivia also won medals in the freestyle section of the event.

A huge thank you goes to sixth-former Alicia for running the group and choreographing the routine.

Meanwhile, the Year 5/6 girls’ football team at St Michael’s have secured a hat-trick of tournament wins this year after their victory in the latest Lichfield and Burntwood School Games competition.

The St Michael’s team, who were also crowned winners of the first ATLP Girls’ Football Cup in March, have demonstrated fantastic sportsmanship and respect, as well as plenty of talent!

Well done to all of our young sports aces!
