The winner of the award – and other prizes – will be revealed at the annual Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & Tamworth and Cannock Chase Annual Dinner & Awards 2023, which takes place on 3 February at Drayton Manor Hotel.

ATLP CEO Richard Gill CBE said:

“We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. It is an honour and a privilege to be recognised in our region, and to be among such respected nominees who make valuable contributions  – both locally and on a wider scale – to business, industry and communities.

“School improvement is a collaborative approach, and we work closely with businesses and organisations – including the Chamber – to provide opportunities for our children, and their local areas, to flourish. By working together, and supporting each other, we can ensure that we continue to make a difference to the lives of those around us.

“Congratulations and good luck to our fellow shortlisted nominees – we look forward to finding out the names of all the awards winners next year.”

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is proud to have won the ‘Large Business of the year, Sutton Coldfield’ by the Chambers of Commerce in 2019.

This year’s entry demonstrates the Partnership’s continued growth, school improvement achievements, community work and impact as a large regional employer.

Key milestones include being appointed by the Department for Education to sponsor the new free primary school, Anna Seward, in Lichfield, and major refurbishments at several schools.

As part of the innovative ‘Learning Futures’ programme the ATLP is providing 11,000 free iPads to students and staff to enable continual access to 21st century learning.
