Influential regional education leaders paid a visit to Arthur Terry to find out more about the school, the broader Partnership and the Teaching School Hub.
On Tuesday, April 18th, ATLP welcomed Andrew Warren, Regional Director for the West Midlands, Deputy Director Dawn Dandy, Ian Coates, Director for Regions Group Transition, and Rebecca Huggett-King, of the Regional Services Division.

Andrew and his team are responsible for making decisions in all the West Midlands Local Authorities across children’s social care, SEND, acadmies and area-based programmes to improve outcomes for children, families, and learners.
During their visit they met with ATLP’s five strategic leads, to discuss the journey of incoming schools joining ATLP and how the school, staff and heads have benefitted from joining the trust, as well as how schools are able to align curriculum work in a tailored way.
Discussions also covered the strength of the Teaching School Hub, and how ATLP’s school improvement team uses data to structure fortnightly meetings to be as effective as possible.
The visitors were also taken on a tour of Arthur Terry School by headteacher Sam Kibble, and John Vickers, Chair of the Trust Board, as well as meeting students.
CEO Richard Gill said:
“It was a pleasure to welcome Andrew and his team to ATLP and to be able to showcase our school and students.”
