Welcome to our Infection Control Hub
At the ATLP, the health and safety of our students, staff, and community are paramount. One of our priorities is maintaining a safe and healthy environment conducive to learning and we are committed to implementing robust infection control measures across our schools.
Infection control in schools is not just about preventing the spread of common illnesses like colds and flu; it is also about safeguarding against more serious threats, including emerging infectious diseases. With this in mind, our infection control information is designed to mitigate risks and promote the wellbeing of everyone in our learning community.
This resource contains general infection prevention and control principles to be used in combination with advice and guidance on managing specific infections.
Details of the ATLP’s risk assessment for infection control can be found on these pages. ATLP’s existing protocols and control measures remain in place, and by following them collectively we can all play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all.
